Paul Bonlarron

Paul Bonlarron, a designer trained at ENSCI-Les Ateliers, explores ornamentation, a profusion of colors, and the poetry of shapes in his creations. Winner of the Mobilier National Design Parade Toulon 2022 award, his work draws on the history of decorative arts-particularly rocaille and secret cabinets - which he reinterprets using contemporary materials and bold conceptual approaches. Works such as *Le cabinet aux mirages* (The Cabinet of Mirages) and the scenography *Le Jardin Secret de Bleu Chardon* (The Secret Garden of Bleu Chardon) reflect his taste for changing textures, optical illusions, and spatial narration. By playing with perspectives and reflections, Paul Bonlarron invites us to contemplate objects and spaces as living settings, where the viewer becomes a wanderer, an actor in intimate theaters imbued with dreaminess, fantasy, and mystery.
