Patrizia Moroso is the Creative Director of Moroso S.p.A., a family business specialising in the production and creation of sofas, armchairs, and home accessories. She joined the management team in the mid-eighties and transformed the firm into a leading international design brand in just a few years.

Endowed with an outstanding creative and innovatory spirit, Patrizia has an innate, insatiable interest in all forms of art, which drives her ahead of her time. In fact, as early as 1988, she started working with Ron Arad, who designed his first collection of upholstered furniture for her. Patrizia’s association with Patricia Urquiola – today a star of international architecture and design dates back to 1999.

A self-assured talent scout, Patrizia enjoys working with unconventionality and in teams. While creating a fusion of technology and handcrafting, she has built up a collection of iconic designs with a coherent hallmark, uniquely reflecting different latitudes and local cultures over the past twenty years. Her global intuition has brought the firm’s products into well-known art venues.
